The TRAQ platform is our proprietary software for collecting and processing tree risk assessment data using the TRAQ method from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).

  • built around the TRAQ form

  • audio-first field capture

  • supports photos, GPS data, and form edits

  • tree identification in the app

  • server-side transcription and structured extraction of TRAQ data

  • user review and form edits throughout the workflow

  • exports final TRAQ form, arborist report, and GeoJSON

The design and development team includes an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and an ISA Certified Arborist, both with extensive field experience.

TRAQ Observer

STATUS: signed release Beta. Acitve use in Sacramento County

TRAQ Observer is the field client. It captures audio, photos, GPS data, and form edits for each tree. It receives transcribed audio and extracted TRAQ form data, allowing the user to review, edit, and add to the form at any point in the process. The observer is used for detailed observations of a single tree.

TRAQ Server

STATUS: Deployed to GCP currently servicing two client devices

TRAQ Server manages processing and workflow. It handles transcription, structured extraction, review, final PDF generation, and GeoJSON export. It also stores transcripts, documents, and form data for downstream reporting.

TRAQ Reporter

STATUS: Static report generator through github pages

TRAQ Reporter is the reporting layer. It organizes completed work into project pages, tree pages, maps, and client-ready reporting views. In the current implementation, MkDocs is used to publish field test results by reporting area and tree.
